Life with a disability is not easy or fair. Other people tend to look at the outside, at performance, accomplishment and appearance. That's not fair, but it is real.
The word shalom (shä-lōm' or shah-lohm) means having an inner peace, well-being and wholeness, experiencing the abundant life in spite of what life throws at you. This real and abundant life comes through a relationship with Jesus, who knows all about your disabilities - and offers you a life of joy and significance.
God looks at the heart, not appearances. Living in relationship with God, your joy no longer has to be disabled. Wishing you SHALOM!
